HIGH STREET OR SALON BRAND HAIRSPRAY

As a hairdresser i am asked so many times the best hairspray to buy.

Everyone is different and so us everyone's hair so we all have our favourites.

My personal favourite is L'Oreal Elnett , but this week we have tested 2 and seen the difference.

The 2 hairsprays are - Tesco Value Hairspray and Tresemme Salon Finish Freeze Hold Hairspray


TESCO VALUE HAIRSPRAY 

100ml     Price 37p

The cost of this hairspray is so good value for money but the packaging is very cheap looking.
The hairspray is great value for hold but there aren't any specia; formulas for shine or condition. This hairspray is just designed to hold and nothing else so is great for a cheap hold.
The smell is very chemically and as a spray it insted of a fine mist of spray is a noticeable wetness to your hair, whichneeds to dry and a strong smell in the air. My top tip is to spray from a distance.
The hairspray really does work even outside in a windy day but for me the stiffness of the hair isn't attractive.


This hairspray is ideal for someone with a short spiky style who does not want to use a gel or mousse.

My verdict is :- Great value hold for a budget hairspray.




TRESEMME SALON FINISH FREEZE HOLD HAIRSPRAY.

500ml         £3.50

This hairspray comes in a better looking can and offers a long lasting extra strong hold so you control your style all day long even in damp or humid conditions.
As you spray this hairspray you get a very fine nice smelling mist which is fast drying and easy to brush out.

This hairspray is a water free base so it willprotect against frizz and fly away hair with body, volume and shine.


My verdict on this hairspray is :- Better value for damp and humid conditions but the hold is the same as the value hairspray.
