To improve your outer appearance all you have to do is improve your inner health.
So I have put together 5 foods that will help strengthen your hair.
As well as these foods always remember to drink more water to flush out toxins from your body and keep your nails and hair hydrated. Toxins that build up in your system cause nails to discoloue so aim for at least 8 glasses of water a day.
BANANAS
Rich in vitamin B6, if you have B6 deficiency it can lead to hair thinning and even hair loss.
WALNUTS
As well as containing Omega 3 they are rich in vitamin E and biotin. This will help protect your hair from DNA damage especially in the sunshine.
Sadly walnut cake won't really help !!!
CHICKEN & TURKEY
Poultry is high in protein and the zinc, iron and vitamin B will give you healthy glossy hair. Hair is 97% protein so make sure it gets enough protein to prevent your hair from becoming dry and brittle.
EGGS
As well as containing zinc,sulphur and selenium they are also a source of iron. This helps cells carry oxygen to the hair follicles and lack of iron is a big cause of hair loss.
SALMON
Rich in protein, vitamin D and Omega 3 fatty acids which are important for strong hair. Omega 3 is found in your scalp and the natural oils keep your hair hydrated.
If you follow these basic rules it will help you to have healthy hair , nails and skin.
