WINTER NAIL VARNISH SELECTION

With holiday parties and New Years Eve right around the corner, it is time to get festive with your winter nails.

Here are my 5 favourite " Winter Nail Varnish Selection" :-

* Tanya Burr - New York Night
* Collection Gel  - In The Shadows
* Barry M - Raspberry
* George - Werewolf
* Rimmel 60 Seconds - Midnight Rendez Vous

Gone are the bright neon colours of summer , now we see the warm dark winter colours.

Tanya Burr - New York Night.

12ml       £5.99   Superdrug

This varnish is in a chic package with the Tanya Burr signature logo.
The range takes its cue from catwalk trends ad favourite shades.
It is a professional long lasting range and very chip resistant., with great thickness to the varnish giving a perfect streak free coverage.

Collection Lasting Gel  - In The Shadows.

12 ml     £3.19   Boots

This is a long lasting gelpolish, it is flake resistant and the colour doesn't fade.
Presented in a bottle that lets you see the colour of the polish well with over 18 colours to pick from.

Barry M - Raspberry.

10ml   £2.99  Superdrug

This is my favourite of all the 5 varnish selection
This varnish is quick drying and very hard wearing.
Barry M comes in a fantastic range of winter colours.
Always remember as with all varnishes to apply a basecoat, 2 coloured coats and a topcoat for that professional look.

George - Werewolf

5ml   £1.00  Asda

A cheap supermarket varnish.
Many colours in the range to pick from, it has a great shimmer and shine but does need lots of coats.
Not the best varnish available on the market but good enough for a Christmas night out varnish.

Rimmel 60 Seconds  - Midnight Rendez Vous.

8ml    £2.99  Boots

This varnish glides on very easily and dries fast NOT 60 SECONDS as the product is called.
The brush is very wide which means you don't need many strokes. The varnish dries quickly and well not streaky.
A wonderful selection of colours are available in this range'

Do you have a favourite winter nail polish ?

Lots Of Love

  1. Great colors! I'm a huge fan of red for the winter, from bright and bold to dark and vampy.

  3. Oh that Rimmel is gorgeous! I'm all about black for the winter (I'm depressive, I know I know!) and deeply dark vampire shades.

  4. I love dark colours no matter the time of the year. Yes, I grew up in the 90's! The deeper the better. Bring on the vampy shades!
