The "Shampoo and Set" used to be the stable of hairdressers and salons in your Grandmothers days, today there are a few O.A.P. clients left who still like their weekly shampoo and set, but not many hairdressers who can do it.

What is a Shampoo & Set ? 

* Shampoo and condition the hair

* Wind the wet hair in rollers into the style required, using setting lotion for an extra hold.

* The amount of curl desired can be created by the size of the roller. for a tighter curl use smaller           rollers.

* Place a hair net over the rollers to hold in place.

* Sit under a hood hairdryer .The length of time varies on the length of the hair. An average short hair    will take between 20 -30 minutes to dry.

* When the hair is dry the rollers are removed and the hair combed out into the required style,                sometimes back combing to add height.
